The Clocks of Delaware:  This program presented by Dr. Philip Zimmerman, explores the special traveling exhibit on Delaware Clocks on loan from the Biggs Museum of Art.

Time: 1:00 pm
Cost: Free


June 25th through 27th, 2007 from 8 am to 4pm.

Reverse Glass Painting Course for Middle/High School Students

Learn the art of reverse painting on glass with instructor Lee Davis, a well known reverse glass painter and local retired educator. Participants will create a reverse glass painting as well as learn stenciling and transfer techniques.

Cost per student: $110.00 (includes materials fee)
Pre registration is required.

July 17th and 19th 2007

Light Years (Time and Outer Space): Learn what the term light year really means and how people have kept time by the planets and stars as we go out of this world for an awesome adventure. Summer program for children entering grades 1st through 6th.

Time: Tuesday July 17th from 10:00 am to 12:00pm
OR Thursday July 19th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm
Cost: $10.00 per child


November 3rd 2007

Fall Day Light Saving Time: Discover how Day Light Saving Time on the home front helped our soldiers abroad during WW2. WW2 re-enactors help tell this story.

Time: 10:00 am to 2:00pm
Cost: Included with museum admission


December 1st 2007

Swinging Time: The Development of the Pendulum:  Presentation by William Ward on Christiaan Huygens' and his development of the pendulum.

Time: 1:00 pm
Cost: Free
